From field trial great NAFC FC AFC Northernlights This Budsforu and out of our Triple Champion and BROM/FROM producer 'Ruby', Diesel's pedigree is great combination of talented show and high drive field lines.

Diesel reset the bar for 'Excellence in Versatility' by earning an AKC Championship in five different venues.  He has an amazing combination of drive, biddabilty, intelligence and athleticism that paved the way for him to become the first dog in AKC history to accomplish that feat.

He excelled in obedience at a young age, finishing his OTCH as a three year old and going on to win over 20 High in Trials and nearly the same number of High Combined Scores.  He was #1 Weimaraner in Obedience many years running and earned the Seattle Kennel Club 'Top Obedience Team' award twice.  He was invited to the Obedience Invitational six times and attended four.

He also showed early promise in the field with a WCA Field Futurity 2nd Placement in his very first field trial at just nine months of age.  He went on to win the WCA Mid America Classic Derby, WCA Western Classic Amateur Gun Dog, place 4th in the WCA National Amateur Championship.  He finished his Field Trial Championship at the age of four.  He ran well in all-breed trials and earned many placements, including a 2nd place in a trial just shy of his 10th birthday.

He went on to finish his Bench Championship at five years old, his Champion Tracker title at six and then his co-owner Judi Voris piloted him to his Master Agility Championship at the age of eight.

He was actively hunting until his last season at the age of 12.  He excelled as a quail dog where his experience and bird sense came together for great bird work time after time.  And he has a special love for the duck search.  If there is a pond in the field you can be sure he will search it.

Diesel kids, while few in number, are big in accomplishments.  They have earned Field Trial Championships, Obedience Trial Championships, Master Agility Championsips, Master Hunters and many Bench Champions as well.  He also has multiple kids with Tracking Dog Excellent and Retrieving Dog excellent titles.  Six of his kids have earned all-breed High in Trial awards.  He is the sire of 'Echo', Regen's 'Ready' Litter and Regen's 'Bismarck' Litter.

Diesel lived with Anne who trained and handled him in obedience, tracking and field.  Judi trained and handled him in agility.  Judi, Anne, Kerry Edinger and Pam Sage handled him in conformation.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to this amazing boy on February 24th 2015.  He is greatly missed.  He was truly and will always be the best. dog. ever.
